Russia's oil export tax will be raised on June 1

officials of the Russian Ministry of Finance announced on June 17 that from June 1, the export tax standard of Russia's fast cross-linked oil will be raised from US $284 to US $292.1 per ton, an increase of 2.9%

Sarkozy also revealed that the oil produced from the eastern Siberian oil fields in June may still be exempted from export duties
